About Me: Hi! My name is Melissa, and I live with my husband, Chris, and our daughter, Tara, in Blackstone. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Cedar Crest College, completed my post-baccalaureate program in Special Education at Bridgewater State, and received my M.Ed. as a Reading Specialist from American International College in Springfield, MA. I currently serve on the Educational Support Services (ESS) team at WCS and work as an inclusion teacher for grades 4 and 5. Outside of school, I enjoy scrapbooking, cheering on my daughter and her competitive gymnastics team, and spending time at the beach during warm weather. Tara is currently in 6th grade at WCMS.

Why did your family choose WCS? We originally chose WCS after a neighbor recommended the preschool to our family. During our visit, Tara was warmly welcomed and invited to participate, immediately feeling like part of the class. We were so impressed by the experience that we applied that same day. We chose to continue at WCS because of the strong foundation she received in preschool, along with our desire for a Christian education. She has been part of the WCS community ever since, and we are grateful for the positive impact it has had on our family.
